\"\"<\/a>There’s a chance Thursday night (Nov. 24) to have an intimate musical encounter with talented young Canadian violinist V\u00e9ronique Mathieu<\/a> at the Telus Centre’s black-box Conservatory Theatre.<\/p>\n

(The photo shows her with the 1715 Dominicus Montagnana violin she was awarded in 2009 from the Canada Council’s old-master Instrument Bank).<\/p>\n

She has been named a Fellow of the Royal Conservatory’s Glenn Gould Professional School, and it looks like she will play a program of contemporary music — something she is making a specialty.<\/p>\n
