Your TSO alternative on the weekend is the Italian-German-American violinist Augustin Hadelich as soloist in Sibelius\u2019s momentous concerto for that instrument. Gustavo Gimeno leads a suite from Strauss\u2019s <em>Der Rosenkavalier<\/em> and Ravel\u2019s equally lavish <em>La Valse<\/em>; plus <em>Aeriality<\/em>, a minimalist landscape by the Icelandic composer Anna Thorvaldsdottir. The 20th century classic is an expanded arrangement of Messiaen\u2019s<em> Le Merle Noire<\/em>.
