The PODIUM 2022 Choral Festival and Conference is the main highlight of the week in Toronto. There are plenty of worthwhile shows going on, but one we\u2019d recommend is the National Youth Choir of Canada with Jean-S\u00e9bastien Vall\u00e9e. They will be premiering two world premiere commissions: Forgive<\/em> by Shireen Abu-Khader and Music is Vibration<\/em> by Andrew Balfour. You\u2019ll also hear the winning piece from Choral Canada\u2019s 2022 Competition for Choral Writing. Podium 2022 Choral Festival | Dead Of Winter<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Kindred Spirits Orchestra | Love and Turmoil<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The program caught our eye in this concert by the Kindred Spirits Orchestra. Not only is there\u2019s Hindemith rarely performed depiction of the myth of Amor and Psych\u00e9, but also Rachmaninoff\u2019s Piano concerto No. 4<\/em>, Op. 40 with virtuoso pianist Ludmil Angelov. There\u2019s also Prokofiev\u2019s turbulent Symphony No. 6 in E-flat minor<\/em>, Op. 111. | Details<\/a><\/p>\n
