Also joining the team is former Tafelmusik managing director <strong>William Norris<\/strong> as a consultant.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOpera takes a village, and only happens with a strong, energized team,\u201d said Loose Tea Music Theatre Executive Artistic Director <strong>Alaina Viau<\/strong>. \u201cI am proud to announce our first lateral leadership team to join me and Joanna Diindiisikwe Simmons, working together on our shared ethos to create daring boundary-pushing art. This team will allow for LTMT to continue our exponential growth, and I am beyond excited to take our next steps with this team of incredible people.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3><strong>In other news<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Loose Tea Music Theatre launched their first-ever <a href=\"https:\/\/looseteamusictheatre.com\/shows\/2122season\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BIPOC Composer Librettist Development Program<\/a> this past February 2021.<\/li>\n<li>Upcoming <a href=\"https:\/\/looseteamusictheatre.com\/shows\/2122season\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">events<\/a> include Ojibwave\u2019s first in-person concert that will fuse Opera, Synthwave, Pop, Indigenous Pow Wow, and Rock &amp; Roll, <em>Pirate Opera<\/em>, <em>The Museum of the Lost and Found:<\/em> <em>gaakaazootaadiwag<\/em>, a new opera by Olivia Shortt, and <em>Angel&#8217;s Bone<\/em>, by composer Du Yun &amp; Canadian librettist Royce Vavrek.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Reimagined Musical Theatre<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>First launched in 2013 by Alaina Viau, Loose Tea Music Theatre focuses on tackling critical societal concerns and fostering social change.
