With the lifting of capacity limits comes the wave of press releases being rushed out by frazzled communications staff joyfully announcing the return to pre-lockdown in-person normalcy.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s news we at LV never get tired of hearing.<\/p>\n

The National Ballet of Canada has confirmed they will be returning to live performances for the 2021\/22 Season.<\/p>\n

The season opens November 11 \u2013 27, 2021, at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts with Angels\u2019 Atlas<\/em> & Serenade<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In other news\u2026<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u2026 The National ballet also announced the principal casting for opening night.<\/p>\n

On opening night, featured roles in\u00a0Angels\u2019 Atlas<\/em>\u00a0will be performed by Principal Dancers\u00a0Harrison James<\/strong>,\u00a0Heather Ogden<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Siphesihle November<\/strong>, First Soloists\u00a0Spencer Hack<\/strong>,\u00a0Jenna Savella<\/strong>\u00a0and Donald Thom,<\/strong>\u00a0and Second Soloists\u00a0Hannah Galway\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Genevieve Penn Nabity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The opening night cast of\u00a0Serenade\u00a0<\/em>will feature Principal Dancers\u00a0Guillaume C\u00f4t\u00e9<\/strong>,\u00a0Jurgita Dronina<\/strong>,\u00a0Sonia Rodriguez<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Piotr Stanczyk<\/strong>, First Soloists\u00a0Jeannine Haller<\/strong>,\u00a0Tanya Howard<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Calley Skalnik<\/strong>, Second Soloist\u00a0Hannah Galway<\/strong>\u00a0and Corps de Ballet member\u00a0Selene Guerrero-Trujillo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
