We continue to prepare for the possibility of opening some concerts to the public, when a return to live performance is possible in a way that ensures our patrons\u2019 comfort and safety.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Concerts will be recorded from Tafelmusik home base in Toronto from Jeanne Lamon Hall, Trinity-St. Paul\u2019s Centre, Massey Hall, or Koerner Hall.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Season Highlights<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>40th anniversary of Tafelmusik Chamber Choir<\/li>\n<li>Return to newly revitalized Massey Hall for Bach\u2019s B-Minor Mass led by conductor Masaaki Suzuki<\/li>\n<li>Tafelmusik\u2019s debut performance of music by Dvorak directed by Leila Schayegh<\/li>\n<li>Tafelmusik\u2019s debut performance of <em>Nonet for strings and winds<\/em> by 19th-century composer Louise Farrenc<\/li>\n<li>New multimedia program exploring magic and music, created by Marco Cera and magician Nick Wallace<\/li>\n<li>World premiere of Bach\u2019s <em>Goldberg Variations<\/em> in an orchestral arrangement by Elisa Citterio<\/li>\n<li><em>The Phantom of Goldberg<\/em>, solo work for harpsichord by Canadian composer Gr\u00e9goire Jeay, performed by Tafelmusik\u2019s Charlotte Nediger<\/li>\n<li>Baroque showcase featuring mezzo-soprano Krisztina Szab\u00f3<\/li>\n<li>Christmas concert with selected choruses from Handel\u2019s\u00a0<em>Messiah<\/em>; excerpt from Berlioz\u2019s<em>\u00a0L\u2019enfance du Christ<\/em>,\u00a0and more<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Digital Season Pass<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Tafelmusik will launch a new Digital Season Pass that invites music lovers to access Tafelmusik on-demand worldwide.<\/li>\n<li>Passholders will also enjoy priority access to live concert ticket sales, which will be announced later, as public health guidelines allow.<\/li>\n<li>Single tickets for digital concerts will go on sale approximately three weeks prior to each concert premiere date.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>End of an Era<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>With news of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ludwig-van.com\/toronto\/2021\/06\/20\/in-memoriam-community-in-mourning-after-death-of-former-tafelmusik-director-jeanne-lamon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sudden passing<\/a> of Tafelmusik\u2019s Music Director Emerita Jeanne Lamon on June 20, 2021, this has been a period of healing for the orchestra and choir.
