Since launching, the program has launched the careers of nearly 230 Canadian opera hopefuls, including Ben Heppner, Krisztina Szab\u00f3, Emily D\u2019Angelo, Claire de S\u00e9vign\u00e9, Gordon Bintner, Ambur Braid, Miriam Khalil, and Wallis Giunta, and David Pomeroy.<\/p>\n<p>The studio is part of the COC Orchestra Academy \u2014\u00a0a comprehensive post-graduate training unit for opera professionals. The program is special in that it includes understudy and performing mainstage roles, intensive vocal coaching, as well as detailed language, movement, and acting studies.<\/p>\n<p>Both Charlotte Siegel and pianist\u00a0Vladimir Soloviev will replace soprano\u00a0Anna-Sophie Neher\u00a0and pianist\u00a0Alex Soloway\u00a0who graduated from the COC Ensemble Studio this past spring.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Meet the Artists<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Charlotte Siegel \u2013 Soprano<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Holds a graduate diploma and a master&#8217;s in opera and voice from McGill University, and a bachelor of classical voice performance from the University of Toronto.<\/li>\n<li>Recently named to CBC Music&#8217;s classical &#8220;30 Under 30&#8221;
