Canadian violinist Lara St. John will be inducted to London, Ontario\u2019s Forest City London Music Hall of Fame (FCLMA).<\/p>\n

Now based in New York City, St. John was born in London, Ontario. She received her early music training in London as a young violin virtuoso before moving to Philadelphia to attend the Curtis Institute of Music.<\/p>\n

Other inductees include Canada\u2019s singing Cowboy, Earl Heywood, R&B band Johnny Stevens and the Canadians, and the rock band, B.W. Pawley and Plum Loco.<\/p>\n

The Forest City London Music Awards recognizes outstanding contributions to the music business, education, and community.<\/p>\n

Greg Simpson, who spent five decades in the radio business, will also be honoured for lifetime achievement during London Music Week, which runs from June 6 to 13. Simpson died last June from a stroke.<\/p>\n

The virtual ceremony will be livestreamed on Facebook<\/a>, June 8 at 8 p.m.<\/p>\n
