year\u2019s Juno awards celebration in Saskatoon cancelled, the 50th annual awards scheduled for Toronto are extra special this year.<\/p>\n<p>Spanning the four categories in Classical Music, the <strong>Montreal Symphony Orchestra<\/strong> has been nominated for two awards in the Classical Album of the year (large ensemble) for <em>Ginastera \u2013 Bernstein \u2013 Moussa<\/em> with <strong>Andrew Wan<\/strong>, and <em>Penderecki: St. Luke Passion<\/em> with the <strong>Krak\u00f3w Philharmonic Choir<\/strong> and <strong>Warsaw Boys\u2019 Choir<\/strong>. <strong>Les Violons du Roy<\/strong> with <strong>Charles Richard-Hamelin<\/strong>, <strong>BBC Philharmonic<\/strong>, and the <strong>Laval Symphony Orchestra<\/strong> with <strong>Jean-Philippe Sylvestre<\/strong> were also nominated.<\/p>\n<p>The Solo\/Chamber classical album of year nominees include<strong> Ensemble Made In Canada<\/strong>\u00a0for the <strong>Mosa\u00efque project,<\/strong> <strong>James Ehnes<\/strong> (nominated for two in the category), <strong>Jon Kimura Parker<\/strong>, <strong>Jens Lindemann<\/strong>, the <strong>Bozzini String Quartet<\/strong>, and <strong>ensemble Les Barocudas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Competition in the vocal category is fierce this year with nominations for the <strong>Toronto Mendelssohn Choir<\/strong> and <strong>Toronto Symphony Orchestra<\/strong> featuring the late <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ludwig-van.com\/toronto\/2020\/10\/09\/memoriam-renowned-canadian-soprano-erin-wall-dies-age-44\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Erin Wall<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, the <strong>Ludwig Orchestra<\/strong> with soprano <strong>Barbara Hannigan<\/strong>, <strong>Karina Gauvin<\/strong> with <strong>Pacific Baroque Orchestra<\/strong>,<strong> Sarah Slean<\/strong> with the <strong>Symphony Nova Scotia<\/strong>, and Calgary\u2019s <strong>Luminous Voices<\/strong> for their recording of Peter-Anthony Togni\u2019s Sea Dreams.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:
