Le Festival de Lanaudi\u00e8re has announced an exclusive recital by pianist Charles Richard-Hamelin performing from the Mus\u00e9e d’art de Joliette on August 9 at 3:30 p.m.<\/p>\n
Richard-Hamelin will perform Beethoven’s Piano Sonatas Nos. 13 and 14, Op. 27 \u2014 which includes the famous \u201cMoonlight Sonata\u201d \u2014 as well as Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Chopin’s 24 Preludes, Op. 28.<\/p>\n
The festival, which went virtual this summer due to COVID-19, has experienced a resurgence amid the pandemic, with more than 16,000 views during its first two weekends. \nOn Saturday, August 1st\u00a0at 7:30\u00a0p.m., enjoy the return of a prestigious German chamber orchestra, the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, conducted by Paavo J\u00e4rvi, joined by pianist Lars Vogt.
