Toronto\u2019s Opera Atelier<\/a><\/span> are launching a virtual concert featuring an impressive list of artists including Angela Hewitt, Measha Brueggergosman, Laird Mackintosh and Colin Ainsworth.<\/p>\n The event will be hosted on Wednesday, May 20, 8 p.m. ET by Co-Artistic Directors Marshall Pynkoski and Jeannette Zingg from their homes in Toronto, and will include a guest-appearance from Toronto\u2019s Mayor John Tory.<\/p>\n \u201cThe arts provide a powerful source of emotional and spiritual support in times of crisis,\u201d says Pynkoski. \u201cOpera Atelier realizes just how vulnerable people are when separated from the artists they love, just when they need them the most.
