The Toronto Summer Music festival has confirmed that the upcoming season has been cancelled due to concerns amid the coronavirus crisis.<\/p>\n
\u201cFor the safety of everyone in our community, at home and abroad, we cannot in good conscience put on a Festival and Academy that centre around large gatherings, social events, and close ensemble work, given the current extent and spread of COVID-19,\u201d said TSM Artistic Director Jonathan Crow. \u201cWe hope you will join us next year to celebrate music and community together once again.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ticket holders are being offered refunds, or the option to donate the value of their tickets. Patrons can contact the RCM Box Office starting Monday, April 13 until June 30.
