Soundstreams has announced today that they will be cancelling all remaining events of the 2019\/20 season.<\/p>\n

Affected events include:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Secrets April 23 & 24 at the Drake Underground
\n\u2022 Musik fur das Ende May 6-9 at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre
\n\u2022 Encounters events March 30 and May 4
\n\u2022 RBC Bridges emerging composer workshop in early May
\n\u2022 European and Ottawa tour events Musik fur das Ende.<\/p>\n

\u201cSoundstreams believes that music has the ability to bring people together, and break down barriers,\u201d the organization states in a press release. \u201cIt\u2019s a mark of our collective humanity. The recent spread of COVID-19 in our society makes gathering difficult, but we continue to carry on to achieve this mission.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are currently looking into rescheduling, and have every intention of remounting many of the shows\/events for future seasons.\u201d<\/p>\n

We look forward to seeing Soundstreams again next season.<\/p>\n
