Limited Seating.<\/p>\n<p>Ukrainian-Canadian soprano Andriana Chuchman, currently making a welcome return to the COC as Musetta in <em>La boh<\/em><em>\u00e8me,<\/em> is giving a noon-hour concert of Ukrainian songs, plus an aria or two, like Susanna\u2019s calling card \u201cDeh vieni non tardar\u201d from <em>Nozze<\/em>.\u00a0 Hyejin Kwon is the pianist. | <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ludwig-van.com\/toronto\/event\/canadian-opera-company-vocal-series-songs-ukraine\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Details<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Canadian Opera Company<\/strong> | Otello. 7:30 p.m. Four Seasons Centre, 145 Queen St. W. $45-$350. Seven more performances to May 21.<\/p>\n<p><em>Otello<\/em>, the final production of the COC season is a terrific show.\u00a0 A wonderful cast that includes Russell Thomas (Otello), Tamara Wilson (Desdemona), and Gerald Finley (Iago). It also benefits from David Alden\u2019s atmospheric and intense staging, a bit quirky but par for the course. It\u2019s based on the character in Dicken\u2019s <em>Great Expectations<\/em>.
