Courtesy of the\u00a0Esprit Orchestra<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, we\u2019re giving away\u00a0two<\/strong>\u00a0tickets to see Grand Slam!<\/strong><\/em> on Sunday, March 24 at 8:00 p.m.<\/strong>\u00a0at Koerner Hall<\/span><\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Gland Slam features a powerful work for percussion and orchestra, Maki Ishii<\/strong>\u2019s\u00a0Afro-Concerto<\/em>, mixing cultural inflections, provides the impetus for this concert and is a spectacular musical blast for Esprit’s season finale. Also\u00a0includes works by\u00a0Chris Thornborrow<\/strong> (<\/span>Trompe l\u2019\u0153il<\/em>\u00a0) and\u00a0Unsuk Chin <\/strong>(Cello Concerto<\/em>).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
