Free. Be sure to show up an hour ahead for a seat.<\/p>\n<p>Pianist\/lawyer Linda Ippolito intended to pursue a solo career as a pianist until she was sidelined by a hand injury. It led her to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.toronto.com\/news-story\/4361454-york-s-linda-ippolito-intertwines-music-and-law\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">study law at Osgood Hall<\/a>, but she has remained a performing pianist.\u00a0 She gives a program of works by Poulenc, Gieseking, Faur\u00e9, and Gershwin.\u00a0\u00a0| <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ludwig-van.com\/toronto\/event\/canadian-opera-company-piano-virtuoso-series-impromptus-improvisations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Listing<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Canadian Opera Company<\/strong> | Anna Bolena. 7:30 p.m. Four Seasons Centre, 145 Queen St. W. Check website for start time.<\/p>\n<p>To my eyes and ears, this <em>Anna Bolena<\/em> is the biggest hit of the COC season, with magnificent singing by Canadian-American soprano Sondra Radvanovsky as Anna.\u00a0 Equally terrific are soprano Keri Alkema (Giovanna Seymour), tenor Bruce Sledge (Percy), bass-baritone Christian Van Horn (Enrico VIII), and mezzo Allyson McHardy (Smeton). Italian conductor Corrado Rovaris is at the helm. Stephen Lawless directs.
