Courtesy of the\u00a0Toronto Consort<\/a>, we\u2019re giving away\u00a0two<\/strong>\u00a0tickets to see\u00a0Monteverdi\u2019s\u00a0<\/strong>Orfeo<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>on\u00a0<\/span>Friday,<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>May 25 at 8:00 p.m.<\/strong>\u00a0at\u00a0Trinity-St Paul\u2019s.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

The Toronto Consort caps off the season with a celebration with the world\u2019s first great opera, and one of the most moving love stories of all time, Claudio Monteverdi\u2019s masterpiece\u00a0Orfeo<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0in concert. The concert\u00a0includes an international team of singers and players, starring the fabulous English tenor\u00a0Charles Daniels<\/strong>\u00a0in the title role, and the Montreal-based early brass ensemble\u00a0La Rose des Vents<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
