Toronto Operetta Theatre<\/span> | The Widow. 3 p.m. St. Lawrence Centre for the Arts. $29-$49.<\/p>\n

TOT celebrates Canada 150 with a rarity, The Widow (La veuve<\/em>), an opera comique<\/em> in three acts by French Canadian composer Calixa Lavall\u00e9e. He is best known for composing the music for \u201cO Canada.\u201d This operetta is so rare that I haven\u2019t been unable to find a synopsis of the work on the internet. You\u2019ll just have to go to the show and find out!\u00a0 Cast includes Julie Nesrallah, Diego Catala, Stefan Fehr and Gregory Finney.
