Info <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gryphontrio.com\/concert\/u-t-faculty-music\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Tuesday 28<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Teatro Proscenium Limited Partnership\/Sousatzka Broadway Limited Partnership<\/span> | Sousatzka: A New Musical. 8 p.m. Elgin Theatre. $60-$175<\/p>\n<p>Marking Canadian impresario Garth Drabinsky\u2019s comeback, <em>Sousatzka<\/em> premiered at the Elgin Theatre on Mar 23, and continues to Apr 9 before moving on to Broadway.\u00a0 Seen on opening night, I found it to be well-produced, fast-paced and high energy, if a bit uneven, mainly because it\u2019s plot-heavy and diffused. The TSO resident pops conductor Steven Reineke is at the helm, and it\u2019s already sold out! They are giving a joint winners\u2019 recital in Walter Hall. No program details available.\u00a0 I saw Allison as an excellent <em>Imeneo<\/em> at the U of T Opera last week. His is a voice to watch. The performance opens with a Canada 150 Commission by Cheryl Cooney: <em>Are we not drawn onward, we few, drawn onward to (a) new era?<\/em> Saturday\u2019s concert is performed with no intermission.
