But over at the YouTube channel,\u00a0Les covers de Persiflette<\/a>, they have taken things a bit further. They’ve made a clever video mashup the song performed in the styles from gregorian chant to high-modernism. Composers include Goudimel, Lully, Handel, Bach, Vivaldi, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Brahms, Wagner, Tchaikovsky, Debussy, Satie, Ravel, Bernstein, Gershwin, Ligeti, Stravinsky, and Shostakovich.<\/p>\n

Not only does this video show\u00a0you all\u00a0the fun you can have with a music degree, \u00a0it also shows\u00a0 \u2014 in real time \u2014 \u00a0just how much music styles have changed over the past 500 years.<\/p>\n
