Every so often MT poses 60 questions to a local or visiting artist in Toronto who has made our classical music community that much more interesting. They pick and choose. The minimum response is 20 answers. A kind of Rorschach personality test, if you will.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Toronto’s Jean Stilwell<\/a>\u00a0is one of Canada’s leading mezzo-sopranos. Stilwell first burst onto the opera scene with the title role in Bizet’s Carmen in Vancouver, which lead to performances in opera houses and concert halls throughout the world. She has been seen on TV as a panelist for the hit show \u2018Bathroom Divas\u2019, \u00a0is a frequent guest on CBC broadcasts, and has recorded extensively on the CBC and CMC labels.<\/p>\n

Stilwell is heard on Toronto’s The New Classical FM<\/a> as co-host of “Classical Mornings with Mike and Jean” \u2014 \u00a0Monday through Friday from 5:30 to 10:00 a.m.<\/p>\n
