They include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Lawrence Abernathy<\/strong>\u00a0(College Station, Texas)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hana J. Cai<\/strong>\u00a0(Rochester, New York)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Jonathan Harvey<\/strong>\u00a0(Belchertown, Massachusetts)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Walter Mahabir<\/strong>\u00a0(Toronto, Ontario)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Matthew Swanson<\/strong>\u00a0(Cincinnati, Ohio)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Over five days,\u00a0each conductor\u00a0will receive about 200 minutes of invaluable podium under the close eye of\u00a0TMC artistic director Noel Edison. Repertoire includes Bach, Mozart, Mendelssohn, as well as some contemporary Canadian works and a choral arrangement of Leonard Cohen\u2019s popular\u00a0<i>Hallelujah <\/i>anthem. Both the Elora Singers and the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir members will participate in varying ensemble group sizes.<\/p>\n<p>The symposium\u00a0will wrap up with a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.musicaltoronto.org\/datebook\/toronto-mendelssohn-choir-tmc-choral-conductors-symposium\/\" target=\"_blank\">free concert<\/a> at Yorkminster Park Baptist Church on Saturday, January 28, at 3 pm.
