The three-step process started with each\u00a0composer writing a piece for the Toronto-based Afiara Quartet. The second step shifted focus to Skratch Bastid, who used recordings of the new pieces to make remixes of each one. After hearing the new remixed versions, the\u00a0composers then re-composed their original compositions utilizing the remix.<\/p>\n<p>An example of the results is\u00a0shown in the video above, with an abbreviated version of &#8220;Quartet&#8221; by composer Dinuk Wijeratne.
