While she&#8217;s singing,\u00a0conductor and comedian <a href=\"http:\/\/rainerhersch.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Rainer Hersch<\/a> conducts\u00a0Philharmonia Orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall, London below a projected &#8220;misheard lyrics&#8221; translation of the Italian text.<\/p>\n<p>For some more context behind the concert, it was presented musician\/comedian\u00a0Rainer Hersch. Here&#8217;s what he had to say:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;My vision is to this bring this double act [music and humour] to the concert platform, Hersch tells <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sinfinimusic.com\/uk\/features\/other-features\/humour-and-music\" target=\"_blank\">Sinfini Music<\/a>. &#8220;Since 2009 I have performed an April Fools concert to the Royal Festival Hall in London (this year it&#8217;s 21 April, but that\u2019s not the joke). To my amazement, major musicians\u00a0\u2013 Alfred Brendel, Nicola Benedetti and Dame Evelyn Glennie\u00a0\u2013 have been keen to participate. Are they offended? Quite the contrary \u2013 they love the opportunity to show that they have a sense of humour. They are aided and abetted by comedians, who know their way around a comedy stage but who may not be so well-versed in the classics.
