But this day an age, when a best-selling classical music recording means selling just 500 copies, recording\u00a0companies are looking to ways to adapt to new listening habits.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s no secret YouTube is a major player. What was once a source for silly cat videos is now a media powerhouse that has over the past five years become the primary source of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/music\/2012\/aug\/16\/youtube-teens-first-choice-music\">music consumption for teens<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Thus far classical music videos have been hit-and-miss on YouTube, but this video of Deutsche Grammophon artist \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.deutschegrammophon.com\/en\/artist\/prohaska\/biography\">Soprano Anna Prohaska<\/a>\u00a0performing\u00a0<span id=\"eow-title\" class=\"watch-title \" dir=\"ltr\" title=\"Anna Prohaska sings Vivaldi\u00b4s &quot;Alma Oppressa&quot;\">Vivaldi\u00b4s &#8220;AlmaOppressa&#8221; caught our eye. Produced by\u00a0Archiv Produktion, the video is s<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"eow-title\" class=\"watch-title \" dir=\"ltr\" title=\"Anna Prohaska sings Vivaldi\u00b4s &quot;Alma Oppressa&quot;\">Produced by\u00a0Archiv Produktion, the video is s<\/span>et in and around a Berlin train station. Dressed in a baroque gown, Soprano Anna Prohaska is a contrast to her modern surroundings, yet the music seems to transcend it completely. She&#8217;s not a bad singer either.<\/p>\n<p>Bonus: Another video (again by\u00a0Deutsche Grammophon) worth noting is Daniel Hope&#8217;s heart-on-sleave video to Einaudi&#8217;s &#8220;I giorni. The production level is high, and the artistic direction impressive.
