They pick and choose. The minimum response is 20 answers. A kind of Rorschach personality test, if you will.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Montreal-based <a href=\"http:\/\/www.matthaimovitz.com\/\">Matt Haimovitz<\/a> has become an in demand cellist and musical pioneer. He brings a\u00a0dazzling technique and visionary approach to concert halls and nightclubs alike. Not only a master of traditional\u00a0repertoire, Haimovitz regularly champions new music. He has collaborated with pianist genre-bending pianist Christopher O&#8217;Riley, composer Philip Glass, conductor\u00a0James Levine and countless others.<\/p>\n<p>Besides a busy touring schedule, he teaches at\u00a0McGill University\u2019s Schulich School of Music in Montreal\u00a0and regularly records with his own label, Oxingale. Since 2015 has released his recordings under the PENTATONE Oxingale series.
