It&#8217;s been used on\u00a0car horns,\u00a0Morse code &#8220;dah-di-di-dah-di, di-dit&#8221; ( \u2013\u00b7\u00b7\u2013\u00b7 \u00a0 \u00b7\u00b7) and even at the end of communications by\u00a0ham radio operators to sign out.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s also inspired composers such as\u00a0Leonard Bernstein \u00a0(&#8220;Gee, Officer Krupke&#8221; from the\u00a0<i>West Side Story <\/i>[see video below starting at 4&#8217;11&#8221;])<i>,\u00a0P. D. Q.
