In this case &#8211; not really&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>The Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony (KWS) have organized a friendly competition which will give student and professional level computer software and hardware developers a chance to compete with ideas and technology to better the concert hall experience for symphony patrons. They will get the chance to work with the orchestra musicians in the 2000-seat capacity theatre (Centre In The Square), along with Music Director Edwin Outwater, and the theatre tech\u00a0crew.<\/p>\n<div class=\"jetpack-video-wrapper\"><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/nwwOGVkhfw0?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-US&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/div>\n<p>The 36-hour challenge is open for developers of any age, and winners will have their chosen solutions tested during a series of concerts on September 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Contestants will gather just before a concert of Beethoven\u2019s Eroica by the KWS on May 22, at 5 p.m. After an\u00a0orientation dinner, the KWS will reveal the problem for the hackers to solve. After the concert, the hackers will be assigned workgroups, where they\u00a0will record their proposed solutions.
