Founded in 2008, The Larkin Singers, has established itself as one of the finest professional choirs in Canada. The ensemble is made of eighteen distinguished musicians from Toronto and the surrounding area. Both critics, and audience alike have applauded their annual concert series presented at Holy Trinity Church, Toronto.<\/p>\n

Critically acclaimed at home, and internationally, the choir has been repeatedly praised for its quality of sound, attention to detail, and impeccable ensemble.<\/p>\n

\u201cLarkin teased a spectacular amount of fine detail from his singers. From the quietest passages to loud statements the choir was impeccably balanced, and the language remained clearly intelligible despite the church\u2019s lively acoustics.\u201d \u2013 John Terauds, 2013<\/p>\n

The Larkin Singers has enjoyed successful tours to Bristol, UK as resident choir at Bristol Cathedral and to New York City, performing at the Cathedral of Saint John the Divine . They have also presented concerts in Ottawa, London and Kingston. In 2008, The Larkin Singers released its first recording, A New Work is Come on Hand<\/em> featuring music of the Christmas season by Bach, R.V. Williams, Howells, Ord and others. The choir regularly collaborates with some of Toronto\u2019s best musicians and musical ensembles, most recently g27 Orchestra, TorQ Percussion Quartet, and organist David Briggs.<\/p>\n
