They never seem to end;\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/slippedisc.com\/2014\/10\/an-international-airline-discriminates-against-violas\/\" target=\"_blank\">some<\/a>\u00a0have made a sport of reporting on them.<\/p>\n<p>We learned this morning that Air Canada have officially banned all violas as carry-on luggage, but will continue to allow violins on board for the foreseeable future. This is odd, considering a viola is roughly only 5 cm\u00a0longer than a violin, and the weight difference is negligible.<\/p>\n<p>Air Canada have been busy cracking down on over-sized carry-on items exceeding\u00a0<span style=\"color: #000000;\">16 by 33 by 43 cm.
