A strong cast includes young soprano Angela Meade as Elvira and baritone Dmitri Hvorostovsky as Don Carlo. Marco Armiliato conducts. (For the more outgoing, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cineplex.com\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">Cineplex<\/a> is offering the live, high-definition cinema broadcast in its usual opera theatres, starting at 12:55 p.m.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>At 2:15 p.m., medici.tv is providing a free, live high-definition webcast of Ren\u00e9e Fleming&#8217;s operatic d\u00e9but as Ariadne, in Richard Strauss&#8217;s <em>Ariadne Auf Naxos<\/em>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.festspielhaus.de\/news\/ariadne-im-tv\/\" target=\"_blank\">from the Festspielhaus<\/a> in Baden-Baden. Conducting is the fabulous Christian Thielemann.
