Stratford Summer Music carries on to the end of the month.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MUSIC NIAGARA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A surprise face at Saturday&#8217;s Season Finale concert at St Mark&#8217;s Church in Niagara-on-the-Lake is former pianist Naida Cole, who took off for med school in Rhode Island a few years ago, earning her degree last summer. But she hasn&#8217;t been able to shake the keyboard bug.<\/p>\n<p>Cole joins Music Niagara founding artistic director, Toronto Symphony violinist Atis Bankas, and the CamerAtis for a programme featuring Mozart&#8217;s G minor <em>Piano Quartet<\/em> K478 and Robert Schumann&#8217;s Op. 44 <em>Piano Quintet.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll find all the weekend&#8217;s details <a href=\"http:\/\/www.musicniagara.org\/Program.page\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>FESTIVAL OF THE SOUND<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sunday afternoon&#8217;s closing concert comes courtesy of the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir, music director Noel Edison and a fine crew of soloists performing their 2012-13 party piece, Carl Orff&#8217;s <em>Carmina Burana<\/em> (with a slightly reduced percussion accompaniment compared to what we heard in Toronto and Elora).<\/p>\n<p>For all the details of this and the weekend&#8217;s other concerts, click <a href=\"http:\/\/www.festivalofthesound.ca\/week-three\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MONDAY IN TORONTO<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Euphonia deserves a bit of advance notice for its Monday-night summer concert series at Lula Lounge, which offers up a fine mix of late-18th century fare at 8 p.m. &#8212; with a side order of casual atmosphere as well as available food and drink. Admission is pay-what-you-can.
