He makes the leap from No. 6 last week. At No. 2 is Sofiane Pamart<\/strong> and Movie<\/strong>, which rises from No. 4.<\/p>\n Jan Lisiecki<\/strong>\u2019s Mozart<\/strong> falls two steps to No. 3, and Camille Thomas<\/strong>\u2019 Rendez-Vous<\/strong> comes in at No. 4. Flautist Jeehee Han<\/strong> rounds out the top five with Reinecke: Flute Works<\/strong>, stepping up from No. 9.<\/p>\n Sinfonia of London<\/strong>, the orchestra whose Puccini Orchestral Works has been taking up space on the Classical Chartz for weeks, adds a second release to the list, and the sole newcomer to the Top Ten: French Orchestral Favourites<\/strong>. The Chandos label album dropped in May.<\/p>\n Sinfonia of London is conductor John Wilson<\/strong>\u2019s handpicked orchestra, and they\u2019ve released a total of 26 albums, including this one, since their relaunch in 2018. The name Sinfonia of London has been used by three different ensembles over the years. It has a long history as a recording orchestra, one that Wilson has re-established with the present lineup. The ensemble\u2019s members consist of principals and leaders from UK and international orchestras, along with acclaimed soloists, and members of prominent chamber groups.<\/p>\n The latest album focuses on a key development in the history of orchestral music.<\/p>\n French orchestral music of the 19th and early 20th centuries se itself apart within the symphonic music tradition with a lyrical and narrative bent that included an emphasis on opera and music for ballet, along with orchestral music. Debussy and Ravel used the orchestra and its colours in revolutionary ways.<\/p>\n The tracks include Paul Dukas\u2019 L\u2019Apprenti sorcier, Debussy\u2019s Claire de lune, Emmanuel Chabrier\u2019s Joyeuse March, Ravel\u2019s Une Barque sur l\u2019oc\u00e9an, Camille Saint-Sa\u00ebns\u2019 Danse macabre, and Suites from Georges\u2019 Bizet\u2019s Carmen. It\u2019s a collection of much loved pieces that will be familiar to most lovers of Western classical music.<\/p>\n The album was recorded in surround sound, and is available in Dolby Atmos Spatial Audio for the audiophiles in the crowd.<\/p>\n Are you looking to promote an event<\/u><\/span><\/a>?
