The group features a flexible membership. She studied piano and composition at Brock University, where she earned the Vice Chancellor\u2019s Medal. She lives, teaches, performs, and composes in the Niagara region, and works in the classical, jazz, and folk genres.<\/p>\n<p>Neva is an Associate Composer Member of the Canadian Music Centre, and her compositions for chamber ensembles and solo piano have been performed in Niagara and Southern Ontario, by the Niagara Symphony, along with various soloists and ensembles. Her music has also be commissioned by the St. Catharines Chamber Music Society.<\/p>\n<p>Neva\u2019s music is inspired by nature, children, and life experience.<\/p>\n<p>The new piece, Woodlands Trio for oboe, viola, and piano, was recently completed and sent to Untitled Ensemble on January 10, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>She first worked with The Untitled Ensemble in 2023, when she submitted her string quartet Pastures to their Land of Lakes call for scores.
