For the complete top 20, tune into Classical Chartz<\/a><\/strong> with the New Classical FM\u2019s Mark Wigmore every Saturday from 3-5 p.m.<\/p>\n

Yunchan Lim<\/strong> takes over the No. 1 spot on the Classical Chartz this week with his recording of Tchaikovsky\u2019s Seasons<\/strong>, a suite of 12 short character pieces. He makes the jump up after debuting on the Chartz at No. 5 last week.<\/p>\n

Viviane Audet<\/strong>\u2019s Le Piano et le torrent<\/strong> take a step down to land at No. 2, and likewise, Yo-Yo Ma, Emanuel Ax and Leonidas Kavakos<\/strong>\u2019 Beethoven For Three<\/strong> goes down one notch from No. 2 to No. 3.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s new in the Top Ten is Hauser<\/strong>\u2019s Cinema<\/strong>, which makes the leap from No. 13 last week to land at No. 8. Hauser\u2019s Classic II<\/a> took over the top spot for a week or two back in 2024.<\/p>\n

The superstar cellist recorded the 25-track collection with the London Symphony Orchestra and conductor Robert Ziegler. It\u2019s an homage to favourite film music, including including\u00a0\u201cWhat Was I Made For?,\u201d\u00a0\u201cConcerto pour la fin d\u2019un amour,\u201d\u00a0\u00a0\u201cLe Vent, Le Cri,\u201d\u00a0Phantom of the Opera\u2019s\u00a0\u201cMusic Of The Night\u201d,\u00a0\u201cA Time For Us\u201d,\u00a0and the Oscar-winning\u00a0\u201cWriting\u2019s on the Wall\u201d from\u00a0the James Bond flick Spectre. Hauser previously recorded film and TV music in the album Score as part of the 2CELLOS duo.<\/p>\n

The mood ranges from adventure to romance, and what are being touted as \u201chidden gems\u201d from composers such as Vangelis, Luis Bacalov, and Nino Rota.<\/p>\n

He\u2019ll be touring Europe extensively in support of the album through till the end of the year.<\/p>\n
