It includes a blockbuster Signature Fundraising Event with superstar soprano Ren\u00e9e Fleming, and a visit by Iv\u00e1n Fischer and the Budapest Festival Orchestra.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Alexander Brose<\/strong>, Michael and Sonja Koerner President &amp; CEO of The Royal Conservatory of Music, comments, \u201cThe 2025-26 classical and jazz season at The Royal Conservatory of Music\u2019s Koerner Hall is a tour de force, showcasing artists and ensembles known throughout the world as leaders in their artform, in addition to should not-be-missed, up-and-coming stars.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom Ren\u00e9e Fleming to the Budapest Festival Orchestra, next season will attract the packed and appreciative audiences Koerner Hall is known for around the globe. My deepest thanks go to our partners and supporters for continuing to allow us to present the greatest artists in such a special space.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Season At A Glance<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cThe 2025-26 season marks our 17th season of bringing the best of the best to Koerner Hall, recognized globally as one of the finest concert halls in the world. Today we give you a sneak peak at our concerts: a dozen of the world\u2019s finest pianists will stop for recitals including Canadian rising star, Tony Siqi Yang, and V\u00edkingur \u00d3lafsson, who just won his first Grammy Award,\u201d says Executive Director of Performing Arts <strong>Mervon Mehta<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur vocal series sees the return of two a capella ensembles alongside Armenian-Canadian superstar Isabel Bayrakdarian and a performance of Schubert\u2019s Winterreise by the world\u2019s leading baritone Matthias Goerne joined by one of our favourite pianists, Daniil Trifonov. We are proud to introduce the young Canadian cellist Luka Coetzee accompanied by our friend Jon Kimura Parker and we welcome an \u2018A list\u2019 of fiddlers, Ray Chen, Nicola Benedetti, Kyung Wha Chung, and Lisa Batiashvili.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe also whet your appetite with a trio of jazz concerts and will announce the full meal plus the global music, pop artists, and the 21C Music Festival in June.
