For the complete top 20, tune into Classical Chartz<\/a><\/strong> with the New Classical FM\u2019s Mark Wigmore every Saturday from 3-5 p.m.<\/p>\n The top two spots in the Classical Chartz are locked down for a second week in a row, with a pair of artists that showcase the depth of talent in the classical music world over the generations. Celebrated tenor Andrea Bocelli holds on to the No. 1 spot with the Duets (30th Anniversary), while Icelandic pianist V\u00edkingur \u00d3lafsson and Continuum remain at No. 2.<\/p>\n Two newcomers crack the Classical Chartz Top Ten this week.<\/p>\n At No. 6, making his debut on the Chartz, is Bruce Liu with his new release The Seasons. The Seasons: Tchaikovsky, takes the composer\u2019s Op. 37a and makes it his own. Along with the 12 tracks\/movements, named after the months of the year, there\u2019s a bonus track of Tchaikovsky\u2019s Romance in F Minor, Op. 5.<\/p>\n It\u2019s the second studio album for Liu under his exclusive contract with Deutsche Gramophon. In the liner notes, the Canadian pianist talks about his personal connections to the music, and its introspective nature. It\u2019s perhaps the best known of Tchaikovsky\u2019s solo works for piano.<\/p>\n At No. 9, Alexis Ffrench rises from No. 12 last week with Classical Soul Vol. 1.<\/p>\n Composer, producer and pianist Alexis Ffrench is a classical-soul fusion pioneer, and he\u2019s become one of the most streamed classical artist in the world. He\u2019s worked with pop stars and iconic fashion houses, and headlined at Royal Albert Hall in London. On his latest album, he pays tribute to a collection of records his late father owned with a series of works for piano and orchestra.<\/p>\n Infused with both Western art music and American soul, including iconic artists like Roberta Flack and her Killing Me Softly, the album features his signature sound world, with nods to both past and present.<\/p>\n Are you looking to promote an event<\/u><\/span><\/a>?
