Robert and Ellen Eisenberg, the couple who founded Sistema Toronto, have added another financial gift to the organization to establish funding that will allow students to attend an overnight music camp. The funds will send Sistema Toronto students to the National Music Camp, where they can make friends while they\u2019re delving into learning and playing music.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re so proud of the progress our students have made throughout the 2023\/24 academic year,
\nand the opportunity to attend NMC only supports more of that growth\u201d says Shawn Earle<\/strong>, CEO
\nof Sistema Toronto in a statement. \u201cThe excellent teaching staff and facilities at NMC provide the safety, support, and community that our students need in order to return to Sistema after the summer
\nmonths refreshed, rehearsed, and excited to dive back into ensemble music-making.\u201d<\/p>\n

With a goal of sending 50 kids to camp this summer, Sistema Toronto is looking for donations to raise the rest of the capital needed.<\/p>\n

National Music Camp<\/h3>\n

National Music Camp<\/a> was founded in 1965, and has run continuously since that time. It provides a fun and safe atmosphere for kids to explore music and the great outdoors on the banks of Lake Couchiching, just a 90 minute drive north of Toronto.<\/p>\n
