UPDATE FROM THE TORONTO MENDELSSOHN CHOIR<\/del><\/h1>\n

Join the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir for its 15th annual Choral Conducting Symposium concert. Six up-and-coming conductors will take the podium after completing a series of masterclasses under the leadership of Artistic Director and Conductor Jean-S\u00e9bastien Vall\u00e9e<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The six conductors will showcase their work as they conduct the 160 voices of the TMChoir, including the 24-voice professional ensemble, the TMSingers, for this final performance.<\/p>\n

The program includes Gabriel Faur\u00e9\u2019s Requiem,\u00a0<\/i>Frank Martin\u2019s\u00a0Mass for Double Choir<\/i>, works by Lili Boulanger and Mel Bonis, a commission by TMChoir composer-in-residence Tracy Wong and winner of the 2024 Debbie Fleming prize for the Choral Composition Competition Justin Lapierre\u2019s\u00a0Lux Aeterna.<\/i><\/p>\n

Free tickets to attend in-person will be available online and at the door.<\/p>\n
