DESCRIPTION:Toronto’s Baroque and Classical music specialists offer audiences a mixed program that’s linked by the concept of staircases in various and imaginative ways. The musical part of this multimedia program includes pieces by Lully\, Purcell\, Handel\, Platti\, Bach\, and Vivaldi\, and new works by acclaimed American bass-baritone and composer Jonathan Woody\, who will also act as narrator and singer in the performance. The concert incorporates poetry and images in an original program by award-winning creator Alison Mackay. Directed from the violin by Julia Wedman.
