DESCRIPTION:By supporting this fundraising event you are helping Westben to bring music to life in Northumberland County\, through our summer and fall festivals\, community outreach programs\, residencies and more. \nJoin Midsummer Magic Gala Co-Hosts Brian Finley and Jeanne Beker for a memorable afternoon of festive fun and fundraising at The Barn. \nWander the late spring meadow\, explore the new gardens complete with native plants and trees\, and catch a glimpse of blue birds and tree swallows enjoying the new Westben bird houses. There might even be a sighting of a bobolink. A merry band of minstrels and nymphs invites you into The Barn for a delicious gourmet lunch by local Chef Ravi from Antonia’s Bistro\, and entertainment by Westben’s Les Mis in Concert stars\, tenor Adam Fisher and soprano Caitlin Wood. Peruse a dazzling silent auction which includes items ranging from white water rafting passes from the Madawaska Kanu Center\, to Dine with the Stars at Co-Founders Donna & Brian’s home\, to an overnight stay at Haute Goat with the Alpacas\, local art and much more! \nYou are also invited to become part of the magic by dressing the part*! Be it whimsical in nature\, or nature-inspired; be it magical or a clever art reproduction; be it a small part of your look (e.g.\, a flower-patterned bow tie) or the whole ensemble – help create a fanciful afternoon.
