DESCRIPTION:A celebration of Vivaldi’s most energetic and amorous concertos\, starring Tafelmusik’s own musicians. \nOur long association with Antonio Vivaldi has entered a new phase with the arrival of Music Director Elisa Citterio. In this celebration of the composer’s unmatched vivacity and inventiveness\, we present a colourful bouquet of Vivaldi concertos. \nAfter her electric performances of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons last year\, Elisa takes the solo role in his love-themed concertos “L’amoroso” and “L’amato bene”\, which will be featured on the 2019 release of a major new recording of this music\, her first with the Orchestra. Tafelmusik’s remarkable musicians are the soloists in the vibrant concertos that complete the program. \nProgram includes: \n\nVivaldi Concertos for violin “L’amoroso” & “L’amato bene”\nVivaldi Concerto for 2 oboes in C Major\nVivaldi Concerto for lute in D Major
