Italian violinist Elisa Citterio leads the Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra in a refreshing programme of music by baroque masters: concerti grossi by Corelli and Locatelli (the beautiful Il Pianto d’Arianna), an orchestral suite by Fasch, and a Vivaldi Concerto for two violins and two oboes. Ms. Citterio will celebrate her Tafelmusik debut with performances ofBach’s Concerto for violin in A Minor BWV 1041.
Ms. Citterio has performed with the dell’Accademia del Teatro alla Scalla and in leading Italian baroque ensembles Il Giardino Armonico, Accademia Bizantina, Concerto Italiano, and Zefiro.
