Two years later\, she snagged a Silver Medal and the Audience Award at the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition — when she was a mere 20 years old. The New York Times wrote that Rana’s rendition of Chopin’s op. 25 Études “made the pieces sound as poetic and colorful as anything Chopin ever wrote.”
