DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Girl Power! \nDuo Concertante take you on an exciting musical journey with a focus on female composers both living and from the past. Featuring works by Ottawa’s own Kelly-Marie Murphy\, as well as Dawn Avery\, Jocelyn Morlock\, Amanda Maier and Amanda’s buddy’s Brahms and Robert Schumann. \nChamberfest’s Adaptive Concerts (formerly Sensory Friendly Concerts) are adaptive performances for those with sensory sensitivities and exceptionalities\, including autistic and neurodivergent kids and adults. Family and friends are welcomed into a concert experience that has special considerations like pre-concert visual aids\, storytelling\, and flexible spaces for movement\, ensuring a comfortable environment for all to be creative and have fun with music. Everyone is welcome!
