DESCRIPTION:This collaboration with Toronto’s Amadeus Choir will present a world premiere by Métis/French-Canadian composer Ian Cusson and the Canadian premiere of Shavon Lloyd’s Alleluia. The program features excerpts from Rachmaninov’s transcendent All-Night Vigil (commemorating the composer’s 150th birthday on April 1\, 2023)\, as well as works by Ukrainian-Canadian composer Larysa Kuzmenko\, Latvian composer Uģis Prauliņš\, and Canadian composers Kathleen Allan and Jon Washburn.
