An event every day that begins at 8:00pm, repeating until December 9, 2017
Urgency, vulnerability, ferocity, beauty…voices of passion are ageless. As Canada commemorates its 150th Continuum goes beyond to explore the voices from the heart that shape us. In our most ambitious chamber concert to date we weave together a vast landscape of stories, reflections, hopes and dreams through song, spoken word, and multimedia.
Picking up on our Canada 150 theme – and commemorating the 85th anniversary of his birth – we invite you to join us at 7:45 pm for a special pre-concert performance by Glenn Gould of music from Bach’s Well-Tempered Clavier, Book 2, as reproduced on Steinway’s Spirio, the world’s finest high-resolution player piano. As Glenn Gould performs the works on film, the Spirio will reproduce his touch – almost as if you were experiencing his performance live.
