DESCRIPTION:VOCAL/CHAMBER MUSIC SERIES \nThe Ethics\, for violin\, piano\, percussion and chorus\, explores the Holocaust\, specifically the Theresienstadt concentration camp\, by honouring the children who did not survive\, exploring what their lives could have been\, and celebrating the resilience and courage of the survivors. It was premiered in 2015 by violinist and composer Ittai Shapira on the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Theresienstadt and was written as a modern day response to Brundibár\, an opera by Hans Krása performed by the children of the camp.
