Music by Brahms\, Emily Doolittle*\, Rodrigo Cadet and Lori Laitman culminates in Cecilia McDowall’s large work for mixed choir\, children’s choir\, piano and percussion\, A Time for All Seasons. The text beautifully weaves the famous lines from Ecclesiastes (“To everything there is a season\, […] a time to plant\, a time to pluck up what has been planted\, […] a time to love\, and a time to hate; a time of war\, and a time of peace”) with new poetry by Kevin Crossley-Holland highlighting the timeliness of caring for the planet. \n*Canadian composer \nTickets\, here.
