BIGLAKE Arts and LUDWIG VAN want you and a guest to experience the BEETHOVEN Marathon as part of BIGLAKE Art’s EVOLUTION Music Festival in beautiful Prince Edward County, Ontario.
Winners will receive two nights’ accommodation at the famed Drake Devonshire Hotel and tickets to experience 10 violin and piano sonatas in one day capturing the happy and fruitful moment in Beethoven’s life during his classical and early romantic periods.
The marathon features a star-studded line-up that includes pianists Phil Chiu, Jane Coop, Illya Poletaev and Louis Lorte and violinists Matthew Chin, Hiu Sing Fan, Pui Ying Wong, Timothy Chooi, Elissa Lee and Sheila Jaffé. And, for full effect – during intermission, the winner + guest will be treated to some of Beethoven’s favourite foods and enjoy a glass of Riesling, one of his favourite types of wine, courtesy of The Sip and local celebrated chef, Rachel Bies.
The prize value is $3,500.
